Description
Know exactly what did not come back — and who owns fixing it. Countback is an offline-first web app for small production crews: freeze an outgoing kit manifest, record returns as declared then verified, flag missing or damaged gear, and get a readiness board with one owner and one due time per blocker. Nothing is ever edited: the append-only event log and hash-checked exports make the audit trail tamper-evident.
• One screen answers the question — READY or BLOCKED, with every blocker carrying an owner and a due time.
• Declared is not verified — the difference is visible per item, on purpose, because that is where crews argue.
• Immutable outgoing manifest — a frozen sha256 snapshot of exactly what left the shop; later kit edits cannot rewrite it.
• Append-only event log — corrections supersede, they never overwrite. No silent last-write-wins.
• Hash-checked evidence — export JSON/printable HTML; tampering and truncation are detectable offline with the included verifier.
• Works with the network off — installable PWA, no login, no server, no subscription, no telemetry. Your data never leaves the device.
• Runs anywhere — plain HTML/CSS/ES modules, one dev dependency to rebuild, MIT licensed, full source and 34 tests included.
